The short version

CalendHER has no accounts, so there is no profile of you to build. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising and sells nothing to anyone. What you upload is used to find the dates in it, and for nothing else.

No account, no sign-up

CalendHER does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or a password, because it does not have accounts. Nothing you do in CalendHER is tied to an identity.

What you upload

When you send CalendHER a screenshot, photo, PDF or block of text, that content is transmitted to our reading service and passed to an AI vision model, which extracts the dates and event titles it can see. The extracted events come back to your device for you to review.

The model provider is OpenAI, used through its business API. CalendHER does not keep a copy of your uploaded image, PDF or text after the dates have been read from it, and does not use what you upload to train any model.

Please still use your judgement about what you send. A screenshot often contains more than the schedule you wanted read — other people's messages, names, addresses or phone numbers. Cropping to just the dates is a good habit.

The calendar file

When you add events, CalendHER builds a standard .ics calendar file. On iPhone that file has to be served from a real web address for iOS to recognise it as calendar data instead of a generic download, so it is stored briefly on our servers and then fetched by your device. It is a one-time file, never a subscription feed, and it contains only the events you ticked.

Your colour choice

Your accent colour is remembered in your browser's local storage on your own device. If you use the pairing-code feature to carry that colour between your devices, the only thing stored on our side is the short code and the name of one of seven colours — for example forest. There is nothing personal in that record, and holding the code is the only claim to it.

No tracking

CalendHER uses no cookies, no analytics or measurement scripts, no advertising networks, no social-media pixels and no cross-site trackers. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs needed to run and secure the service.

Permissions on the iPhone app

The iPhone app asks only for what it needs, at the moment it needs it:

• Photos — so you can choose the screenshot or photo you want read.
• Camera — so you can photograph a schedule or flyer directly.
• Calendar — so the events you approve can be written to your calendar.
• Reminders — requested only because the calendar library CalendHER relies on checks for it at startup. CalendHER does not read or create reminders.

CalendHER never reads your existing calendar entries to send them anywhere, and never browses your photo library on its own — it sees only the items you hand it.

Children

CalendHER is meant for adults managing their own and their family's schedules. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
